Level 1: How to Build a Stand Up Comedy Routine Class
5-week course
In this Stand Up Comedy class, you’ll learn the Greg Dean Method: the fundamentals of joke structure & joke writing, performing and managing stage fright along with many other skills and techniques. This is a 5 week class, in person at the Santa Monica Playhouse or live over zoom.
Ongoing Joke Writing Group on Zoom
Ongoing Subscription Based
This is an ongoing subscription based program that meets weekly for people who have completed the Building Routines or Advanced Joke Writing Course. Available only on Zoom.
Level 2: Writing a Show & Performing at the Improv
6 week class
Learn how to write and perform a stand up comedy show and take that show to the Improv! This is for people who have completed the Building Routines or any Greg Dean beginning or advanced class and want to hone their stand up comedy skills for a live performance at the Hollywood Improv. This is a 5 week in person class at the Santa Monica Playhouse with week 6 at the Improv for the live performance.
