Still Have Questions?
Who is this community for?
New and aspiring comedians, especially first-timers who want reps, real feedback, and a friendly crew. Ages 18+; all genders welcome.
Do I have to be “naturally funny” to join?
No. You bring curiosity and consistency. We’ll bring structure, prompts, and training – honed over 40 years of real-world teaching.
What happens after I sign up?
You’ll get access to the dashboard, the forum/Slack, weekly share threads, and invites to monthly Open Mics and Joke-Lab sessions.
How is this different from YouTube tips or joke lists?
Most places teach what to try. We practice the how together, using simple frameworks for writing, rehearsal, and performance, then pressure-testing them with supportive feedback. Greg’s an expert at teaching the structure of why jokes work (and why some don’t), helping you see what other comedians can’t.
Who sees my jokes? Do I keep ownership?
Members in your sessions/threads. You own your material. We encourage good etiquette: cite influences, don’t lift lines, and ask before repurposing another member’s idea.
I’m terrified of bombing. Can you help?
Yep. We practice rehearsal techniques, mindset tools, and after-set debriefs so a “bomb” becomes a learning rep – not a dead end.
I don’t live in the U.S., can I still join?
Yes. The forum/Slack and weekly threads are asynchronous. Live events are scheduled with time-zone variety when possible.
What if I’m already a few years in?
You’re still welcome to join. Many members are seasoned performers who want to connect with other comedians at or a little ahead of where they are.
Will the community help me find open mics?
Yes. Members share local venues, sign-up tips, and first-timer advice in the forum/Slack.
